What is it?

The Insights Discovery Transformational Leadership Profile (IDTL) supports individuals in exploring how they lead themselves, others, and their organisation. Built on the standard Insights Discovery evaluator, it draws on Jungian preferences to show how people approach leadership across eight dimensions, from Agile Thinking to Leading Change. 

The profile highlights personal strengths, challenges, and development opportunities, offering practical ways to broaden leadership impact beyond one’s natural preferences.  

It can be used as part of the Self-Aware Leader programme, integrated into wider development initiatives, or as a stand-alone resource for anyone on a growth journey. 

By raising awareness of leadership style in its broadest sense, IDTL empowers people at every level to act with authenticity, inspire collaboration, and drive meaningful change. 

How it works

  • The IDTL builds on the individual’s Insights Discovery personal profile to maintain consistency and continuity.
  • It frames the leadership narrative around the four manifestations of leadership and eight key dimensions of leadership behaviour identified by Insights Discovery.
  • Content is organised within a structure of leading self, leading teams, and leading the organisation, providing a self-directed learning experience.
  • To fully leverage the profile, participants engage in coaching sessions or group workshops, deepening their understanding and application of the insights.
